Food runs in my family. After WW2 my grandfather Leo (Pepe) owned a diner in the Fitchburg railroad depot serving breakfast & lunch. When I was growing up he’d always ask me if I was a chef yet–I loved cooking and he knew some day my ambitious dreams would lead me to my own breakfast & lunch spot–and he was right.
In early 2019 my family and I began renovating an old local diner in South Deerfield. We finished the work in August of that year, and I knew there was only one name for the business–thus Leo’s Table was born. If Pepe were here today, he would be so proud.
Leo’s Table is cozy and welcoming, offering counter service indoor dining space and take out orders.
When you eat at Leo’s, you eat with family–to us that means everyone is treated with respect and compensated fairly. We pay our team a livable wage to ensure our cafe family can feed their own families. You won’t find any extra fees on your bills, we factor fair wages into our prices.

Line Cook- Part Time
Priority will be given towards those that have experience or willingness to learn both back and front of house duties. We are a very small team, focused on team work and cross training, with an open kitchen cafe service concept.
Line Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals, and prepped items by following recipes and guidelines set by establishment. Daily tasks must be achieved while maintaining a clean workstation and observing necessary sanitation protocols. Kitchen staff should maintain a sense of urgency and understanding of when tasks must be complete. When necessary, aid in all other areas of the cafe.
· Prepare dishes to specifications while maintaining quality standards
· Assess levels & quality of daily prepped items for replenishment, or replacement needs
· Stock dry, refrigerated and frozen goods for kitchen
· Communicate with prep concerning items used, needed, and brought up stairs
· Assist with running food out to customers
· Assist with dishes
· Assist other positions as necessary
· Ensure communication between shifts
-Ability to run a line solo
Must have weekend availability between 6AM-4PM.
Starting $20-25 hourly rate to start, We are a tip free establishment and pride ourselves on providing a fair living wage to our employees, based on their experience in the field.

Must be 18+, able to lift 50lbs, and traverse stairs several times a day.
